We are on the hunt for keen and self-motivated sales professionals, with proven account management experience, to join the sales team at our Wodonga & Wagga branches.
 
Experience in the ag, construction or automotive industries is welcomed but not required. On-the-job training & support will be provided.  


About the role: 

Our Sales Account Managers are responsible for managing the sales of machinery and equipment to businesses and individuals, along with ongoing account management to support proactive service, parts and repair bookings.  

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service. 


Key Roles and Accountabilities: 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and ensure customer satisfaction and retention. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales, service & parts revenue. 
  • Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues and our marketing team to develop sales strategies and achieve sales goals. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving any issues in a timely manner. 

 

Key Tasks: 

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers, including regular check-ins and follow-ups. 
  • Generate new leads and prospects through targeted outreach efforts. 
  • Conduct machinery demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients. 
  • Negotiate and close sales deals with clients. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services. 
  • Track sales performance and report on progress towards sales targets. 

 

Specialist skills & attributes: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proven sales and account management experience. 
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation and closing skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets. 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
